GREIF MİMAYSAN AMBALAJ SANAYİ A.Ş. was founded for steel drum manufacturing in Gebze in 1989 as a subsidiary of Van Leer Industrial Packaging (NL) having the partnership of Mimaysan Group (TR). The company started drum manufacturing in 1990 with the local entity of Van Leer Mimaysan Ambalaj Sanayi A.Ş. and was re-named as Greif Mimaysan in 2003 after Van Leer Industrial Packaging’s acquisition by Greif Inc (USA) in 2001.

Greif Mimaysan currently operates within Greif Inc. in the EMEA Region, Rigid Industrial Packaging and Services.

In addition to drums, Greif Mimaysan provides sales and technical assistance for the packaging solutions produced by other group companies.
